COCKTAILS FOR A CAUSE
Bring a friend and a children's book and join GenNext Wednesday, March 7
from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at Bar Louie Downtown, 504 Park Street
In celebration of Read Across America Month and Dr. Seuss's (belated) birthday, we will be collecting children's books for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Columbus!
Motivating children to read is an important factor in student achievement and creating successful, lifelong readers. Research has shown that children who are motivated and spend more time reading do better in school.
Bring yourself, a friend and a book (or many) to donate to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Columbus and enjoy complimentary hors d'oeuvres and happy hour drink specials provided by Bar Louie.

About NEA’s Read Across America
The National Education Association is building a nation of readers through its signature program, NEA’s Read Across America. Now in its thirteenth year, this ongoing program focuses on motivating children and teens to read through events, partnerships and reading resources.
NEA’s Read Across America Day, NEA’s national reading celebration takes place annually on or near March 2, the birthday of Theodor Suess Geisel, a.k.a. Dr. Seuss. Across the country, thousands of schools, libraries and community centers participate by bringing together kids, teens and books, and you can too!
Looking forward to a great evening. Hope to see you there!
